Did the very strong flow of prayers and thoughts in the world tip the scales in the election of Barack Obama? Can we hope that he is a providential Being for the transition and that he is inspired and guided by the Light? Was humanity destined to live for 8 years under Bush's presidency and to suffer the financial crisis and the Iraq war so that we could finally end up with a president of colour ?

"First of all we are going to talk about Bush. It may seem difficult for you to accept it, but Bush had an important role to play: he has put certain energies, certain forces in place which have accelerated a process.

"We would like to say that even if he has not served the Light, even if he has served his own interests and far more than this (we know what we mean when we say ‘far more'), he did have his role because you must understand that nothing happens on earth without being planned by the entities leading this world (not leading the material world, but leading the spiritual world and far beyond).

"For us the problem of Bush was unavoidable and necessary, in spite of the considerable damage – visible and invisible – that he has done. Look how wonderful it has been, for the American people, after eight years under Bush's presidency, to find themselves waking up to what could be called another consciousness. They have been able to say ‘No, we do not want this anymore, we do not want this type of politics, these lies, any more; we want something else'. What is this something else?

"Unfortunately Obama will not have his hands as free as you might think he will. He has a very important role, a role of awareness. Unfortunately he will not be able to do a quarter of what he would like to do because there are still very important occult forces which lead the world. So, in spite of their immense joy, the American people will be disappointed, but this president should not be blamed for these setbacks: they will be, rather, due to world governments not being fully committed to change.

"As long as human beings keep on being dominated by money and power, as long as they continue to be so manipulated, no country on earth will have a wise government.

"Obama will have a lot of protection: in a certain sense, he will be the man of transition, the man who accompanies the transition, even if he does not realize it. He may have the great merit to prepare the people of the United States to live with a greater respect for each other. Perhaps he will even be able to help consciousness to evolve a little.

"It is not a question of being black, white, yellow or any colour of the rainbow (this would be beautiful in fact!) It is a human question, a question of the desire to act, but also a question of the possibility of action, because although the will might be there it could also be hindered so much by certain powers that it is impossible to act at any specific moment.

"The change of government in the US will automatically influence the world provided that it is strong enough for it not to be overcome by powers which have not completely left this world."
